  • California School Accountability Report Card
    Public schools throughout California are required to provide information about themselves to the community in the form of an annual School Accountability Report Card (SARC). These report cards provide a variety of data to allow the public to evaluate and compare schools in terms of student achievement, environment, resources and demographics.
  • Georgia Department of Ed Report Card
    The Georgia ppublic education report card includes testing data of all 1,969 schools and 180 school systems in Georgia, enableing comparisons of scores with schools and districts across the state.
  • GreatSchools.net: online guide to k-12 schools
    GreatSchools.net is a source of school information on elementary, middle and high schools. A nonprofit organization, GreatSchools.net provides information about public, private and charter schools in all 50 states and detailed school profiles for California, Arizona, Texas, Florida and Washington.
  • High Stakes Testing Position Statement
    The Alliance for Childhood presents a position statement on high-stakes testing. This position maintains that such testing is harmful to children, that the technology of testing is flawed, and that high-stakes testing is damaging to public education itself.
  • New Jersey Dept of Ed Report Card
    In 1995, the New Jersey Legislature passed the law that mandates a New Jersey Report Card for every school in the state. Over the last seven years, the Department of Education has expanded the data in the report card to provide as much information as possible to enable parents and community members to make judgments about the effectiveness of their schools.
